About
Here, Boy! is a one-guide operation built around years of experience in dog training and walking. We believe every dog can gain confidence and relieve stress with a few hours of wilderness adventure with the right pack and the right guide.
Who Am I
I grew up with a family of dog lovers and dog trainers, and 5 to 10 canine siblings at any given time! I've been living and working with dogs since I was a child, and wouldn't have it any other way. I hold dog training certifications from The Academy for Dog Trainers, CPDT-KA, and Udemy. I believe in evidence based, correction and reward focused training.
Here, Boy! was born out of a desire to provide a service to the dogs of New York City, where I was born and raised. I walk every trail and hike every route before I take your dog there. It's my job and responsibility as their guide and pack leader to keep them safe, and I take that very seriously. None of my packs have experienced any major injuries, and I intend to keep it that way. I hold a wilderness first aid certification, and I keep my pack sizes small so that every dog gets my personal care and attention.

How We Start
Before any dog joins a pack, I call the same day you request a date, then come by for a free 20 to 30 minute meet and walk, just me and your dog. That's how I learn their recall, triggers and personality, and decide if they're a fit for a pack hike or better suited to a Solo Summit. Only then do I schedule the hikes.
